Trézór Suite (Official)

A secure, user-focused desktop and web application designed to manage your cryptocurrencies while keeping private keys safely stored on your Trézór hardware device.

Overview

Trézór Suite is the official companion app for Trézór hardware wallets. Its primary role is to provide an intuitive interface for everyday crypto tasks — viewing balances, sending and receiving funds, managing accounts, and connecting to decentralized applications — without ever exposing your private keys. Whether you prefer a native desktop app for macOS, Windows, or Linux, or the convenience of the web version, the Suite ensures that all critical signing happens on the hardware device itself.

Why use the Suite?

The Suite bridges the gap between offline key storage and online interactions. It gives you the usability of modern wallets while preserving hardware-backed security. Move funds, check transaction history, export account data, or interact with third-party services — all actions are confirmed on your Trézór device, keeping sensitive material offline.

Core features

1
Hardware-enforced signing
Transactions must be approved on your Trézór device, so malware or remote attackers cannot sign on your behalf.
2
Multi-currency support
Native support for major coins (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin) and broad token compatibility via integrated explorers and bridges.
3
Account organization
Create multiple accounts, label them, export transaction CSVs, and keep clear records for accounting or tax reporting.
4
Third-party integrations
Connect to MetaMask, DeFi portals, block explorers, or staking services while keeping your keys locked to the hardware device.
5
Advanced workflows
Support for multisig setups, enterprise integrations, and developer tools for scripted or automated processes.

Getting started — quick setup

  1. Download the official Suite from trezor.io/start. Choose the desktop package for your OS or use the web version from a secure browser.
  2. Install and launch the application. Connect your Trézór device with the supplied USB cable.
  3. Follow on-screen instructions to initialize a new device or recover an existing wallet. Verify any firmware prompts; firmware updates are signed and verified by Trézór.

Desktop vs Web — which to pick?

The desktop app offers a local-first experience with improved file handling (exports, backups) and native performance. The web version is ideal for occasional access or when using a trusted shared device. Both provide the same security guarantees because private keys remain on the hardware device and confirmations always appear on-device.

Security best practices

  • Only download software and firmware from trezor.io. Verify digital signatures where available.
  • Never enter your recovery seed into a computer or phone, and never store it digitally.
  • Use a strong PIN and enable an optional passphrase for hidden wallets.
  • Confirm every transaction on the Trézór device screen; do not rely solely on the app’s display.
  • Keep firmware updated to receive security patches and improvements.

Privacy & data handling

The Suite collects minimal telemetry and only with user consent. Account labels and local exports are stored on your machine; they are not shared unless you explicitly export or transmit them. Always review privacy options during installation and within application settings.

Developer & enterprise integrations

Developers can pair the Suite with CLI tools, integrate it into multisig workflows, or connect it to HSM-backed enterprise systems. The Suite’s API and supported connectors enable automation while ensuring that private keys remain isolated on the hardware.
